i think the canucks consider that, but I don't personally like it. I like Garland being locked up for 4 years at a good cap hit, and I think he has way more than what he showed for us last year.

Welcome to CapFriendly! Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

The hardest part about constructing reasonable trades is trying to fill at least one of the OTHER team's needs. Los Angeles has one line firmly set for next season, the line that was their best for the second half of the 2021-2022 season: Moore - Danault - Arvidsson. That leaves the following left-handed forwards (not counting centers) all vying for playing time next season: Kempe, Iafallo, Kaliyev, Grundstrom, Turcotte, and other possibilities in addition to righties Kupari and Vilardi. As a result, Zucker is someone we'd have absolutely no interest in. Although you're not terribly off on value, that's an offer Los Angeles would decline.

Kings would have to be drunk to take that trade. Also what is that Heinen trade??? You’re shipping off an almost 20 goal scorer in the bottom 6 for…. nothing?

Unless Dumoulin can play on the right side as effectively as he does the left, that's going to be a "no thanks" from Columbus. We're already overfull on LHD.

That is an overpay by pitt in that calgary trade. That is the price I would pay for Kylington without Lucic, and Luc has significant negative value at that AAV
