How dare you suggest the Rangers trade 17x Norris winning defenseman Braden Schneider?!?!? Don’t you know he’s the most valuable player in the league?

Yikes - def wouldn't pay that for one year of Miller. Wouldn't trade Schneider straight up.

Good thing you’ll never have a job in hockey. Schneider alone wouldn’t even get miller at the trade deadline as a rental

You're overvaluing an ~60 pt rental. He's not Jack Eichel

99 points last year, PPG the last 3 years. You’re overvaluing a 3rd pair dman

A 99 point Centre who has been a PPG player for the past 3 years and could be yours for *checks notes* $2.625m

Miller has scored at over a 1ppg pace the last 3 seasons but sure he’s a 60 point guy somehow? Claude Giroux essentially returned 2 1sts and a 3rd this year and miller is way better and almost half the price even at the deadline he’d return schneider and a 1st plus another asset

    In an alternate universe:
    - 33 year old Chris Kreider scores 50 goals for the 3rd straight season
    - Braden Schneider wins the Norris Trophy as the Rangers’ 3rd pairing defenceman
    - Tampa Bay sweep the Rangers on their way to a 5-peat

You’re right, it’s not worth giving that much up for a 60 point rental. Good thing Miller isn’t a 60 point rental, he’s a 80-100 point rental

It sounds like you’re overrating a prospect who is acting as your third pairing d man

A Canucks fan posted this, if it was a NYR fan a $2,000,000 bounty would be placed on their head

Cool. Though if you're going to diagnose the Rangers' issues, talent isn't really one of them. It's mostly scheme/deployment.
