Don't think that gets a pasta deal done, especially if they are top 10 proceted. I think you have to include a top 10 pick in a deal for him.

Also, why would sharks do it for one season, he is gonna cost $10 long-term after that and the Sharks don't have the cap.

the deal that is being rumored is 8 year 68 mil rn, pick doesn't have to be top ten protected either, would also be willing to give up Better prospect like body robins or coe, just thought Leonard is closest to nil ready. With regards to cap we can buy out vlassic and burns trade seems to be close-ish. Then we have people like Bonino's contracts expiring next year

It's unlikely John Leonard will ever be a productive NHL player. Balcers provides no value for the Bruins if they're rebuilding.

2 1st round picks are a good start, but they likely couldn't be protected.

I would give up this much for 1 year of pasta. Not worth it at all

Bruins probably want Eklund in the package. I'd assume that's a no-no from SJ, but it's likely what it would take. (I dont think Pasta leaves regardless)

Hawks reject. They don't want to pay assets for a goalie to just get crushed their whole contract. They would more likely turn to UFA and keep the pick.
