Playing With Ideas Part 2

Created by: KM87
Team: 2022-23 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 13, 2022
Published: Jun. 13, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Only happens if Marchment doesn't sign for more. If he does, maybe try to sign Max Domi to that contract. Also, Buffalo is a hypothetical move. Basically move Mrazek to a bottom of the standings team for nothing, but giving them a pick. Hopefully have someone except a 3rd, but if not, a 2nd is fine too. Hope Sandin and Liljegren accept 1.25 each to help with cap crunch. Trade Engvall and Kase for the best draft pick you can get. Hope Husso and Desmith can at least play average throughout the year. Hope NJ doesn't qualify Wood and hope no one outbids you.

A useful young player for an AHLer. McLeod is more valuable than Robertson.

Based on salary? Because if we’re talking skill, Holl is the better player. He’s just too expensive to fit on this roster at the moment.

Not a troll at all. What has Nick Robertson done to make you think he’ll be an impact player on this Leafs team? McLeod can play physical, win face offs and kill penalties. Nick can play on the power play unit. 5v5 he’s a liability because of his defence

Vancouver would rather have the better and less expensive player so they will pass

From the Devils, I think Wood gets qualified.
Our GM has said that team missed him, needs him back, etc...
And Wood was brought to tears when talking about how much this team meant to him after he returned from injury.

Zacha, on the other hand, may be different story. But he may just get traded. He wants to play center again someplace.

Schenn is a good fit in Vancouver both on and off the ice. No rush to trade him.

If that changes, don't think Holl would be the type of return Vancouver would want
