Devils need to add
Kakko should have went 1st overall in 2019. Plus you’re adding Mr Untouchable Braden Schneider? Devils would have to add both Hughes and 5 firsts

1. NJD and NYR don't trade
2. NYR need ELCs next year
3. Kakko cannot look Hughes in the eye.

Y'all can stay with Shakir Mukmadullin. You missed out on Schneider already sorry.

Disasterous Mukhamadullin pick notwithstanding, Mercer was the correct pick over Schneider 10 times out of 10.

You cannot actually think Schneider is untouchable for Logan Cooley or Juraj Slafkovsky

Schneider is much more of a need for where the Rangers are right now. Cooley and Slafkovsky still need to get used to the NHL.

Didn't Hughes' season end like 2 months ago?

You trying to argue that Kakko>Hughes because Kakko got carried to the ECF? Pathetic

I disagree with this. Schneider is stuck behind Fox and Trouba with Lundkvist being in a similar boat. If Cooley or Slaf can jump in year 1, that'd be huge

If you sub Schneider with Lundkvist and some type of sweetener, the rangers gladly accept. Either Wright or Cooley at #2 would be great.

Say Kakko, Lundkvist and potentially Robertson/henriksson/3rd?

Schneider will jump Trouba. Deal is interesting though maybe Nils instead and a draft pick I could see it happening but not Schneider.

Not arguing Kakko/Hughes just letting you know we’re better.

Schneider is very likely to be Trouba’s successor in the future and as for Cooley and Slafkovsky...there is a reason no teams wanted to trade for 2022 picks at the deadline.

I said you can keep Mukmadullin
You said we can keep Kakko

Jack Hughes and NJD can also keep their spot at the bottom of the division
