The problem you'll have is that you shouldn't trade either of your two first-round picks (2022 or 2023) and a first-round pick in one year or the other is a pre-requisite for any Gibson trade.

As a Vancouver fan, I would love Zacha for a 4th but, I believe he has more value. Maybe a 3rd?

I think it would also cost a lot more than Blackwood and a 2nd for Gibson. Probably a 1st and a blue-chip.

We need to get another early pick to send to Anaheim. Not sure where we’d find one, but maybe…two steps…

1. Blackwood/2nd to XYZ teams for mid/late 1st
2. That pick plus one of our defensive prospects (Bahl, Okhotiuk) to Ducks for Gibson.

I don’t know.

He is playing behind a rebuilding Ducks team. On a good team, I think he would be at least a .920 goalie

That’s fine. I made an ACGM before with a 23 third that upgrades with each condition met: sv% > 0.915 and devils playoffs. Smith and Daws were the other pieces

Nobody should pay for his last 3 years without conditioning the return on his return to Gibson of old
