Agreed. Don’t doubt ANA can get a big haul from some team banking on him bouncing back but I really hope the Devils steer clear.

Probably a no from both Anaheim and Jersey but love the Tampa deal, I like the Minnesota one

Funny because I was messing around with a AGM 30 seconds ago and was figuring out a deal for Cernak

Tampa is not moving Cernak unless they get an offer they can't refuse. This is not that kind of offer.

Tampa declines. The overpay would have to be large for Brisebois to consider moving Cernak, and that deal isn't it.

What are your thoughts on a 2023 1st 2022 2nd and Sonny Milano

Tampa would probably want a '22 1st, as the player could potentially help Tampa sooner for where they are at in their window. They'd still decline though, as Cernak is the best player they have at their weakest position. Until Tampa knows what they have in prospects Perbix, Thompson, and later down the road, Schmidt, it will be very difficult to trade Cernak. Tampa would have to have an equal or better RD lined up, and it seems doubtful they'll find that at Cernak's price range. Tampa should be looking to add an RD perhaps, not just replace one.
