Description

This trade makes no sense. We took back cap for Weber when we did not have to and did not have cap to spend. RW is not a place where it makes any sense to spend cap. The only thing that this signals to me is that there is another trade to come. Anderson or Armia have to be on the move or Gallagher, but let's be honest, it's not Gally. Where there's smoke there's fire!

My money is on Anderson.

I know my Oilers have interest in Anderson, but I cna tell you they are not trading Holloway. The only reason they'd trade a young talent is for cap space (which is why I don't understand why we're going for Anderson but whatever) so trading an NHL-ready talent who's under $1M is crazy. If you really wanna make a trade work with the Oilers I have heard that the Habs have interest in Barrie.

No way Anderson nets Holloway. Maybe a lower prospect if it’s Edmonton, but a top prospect, I doubt it. Then again, Kenny Holland might do something stupid again.

Maybe Price is staying on LTIR, not sure how much cap % you can go over but might be the reason

Hes a UFA after next season, if he plays well he could net MTL proly a 1st + with 50% retention at the TDL

I know he played with Hoffman before... but I'd be shocked if he netted a 1st.

Kent Hughes was just asked... are you gonna trade Dadonov and he responded, "We might trade Anderson. We're in 32nd place and we have to evaluate everything."
