Why? Take the deal and flip Rielly for a 3rd. I like it

Riley is horrible if he was worth a 3rd, boston would just save this step and trade him for a 3rd

Patrice Bergeron gets more money or retires.

Andrew Copp gets more term 3-4 years worth.

Vincent Trocheck gets way more money and term.

Evander Kane wants $7,000,000 to remain in Edmonton, So he's not taking that low ball offer from Boston.

FYI, Vesalainen is playing in Sweden (Malmo) for the 2022-23 season. He signed in late-May.

Tuukka took a similar offer so I assume that Bergeron would do the same

Copp I kinda agree on but I thought I would rather do a bridge into a higher value contract for some reason

Trocheck is overrated and in my opinion could be replaced with another guy like Kessel

Kane has been in so much controversy that I would be surprised if he even gets a multi year deal, never mind a 6 year 7 million deal

The Jets most likely won't be looking to trade Scheifele for a pile of nothing, so that offer won't work.

I’m aware that he is, I feel like if he were to sign after tearing up the SHL it would look smart however there are a lot of ifs there

you obviously haven’t seen the other Bruins fans deals then, they want him for Smith and a 2nd.

I do feel like it was a bit biased towards Boston but it isn’t as far off as you think

The problem with Vesalainen isn't his physical tools, it is his hockey IQ and effort level. A breakout season in Sweden is a roll of the dice.

That is why I’m hoping he would develop them here, then he is a 3/4RW power forward type when the team goes into the 2023-24 season

I doubt that is going to happen. He went back to Europe during his ELC and he came back and all that was accomplished was that he was passed on the depth chart and lost a year of development.

No, it's not even remotely close to being remotely close. There isn't a single valuable piece in the entire deal. 3 cap dumps and garbage picks wouldn't even get Vesalainen. So, you're not getting a PPG 1C for that.
