Myers is almost certain to be bought out. He may get traded first though as his buyout actually gains cap space for the team that does it this year

I know. My thought was that the preds try to gain some (minimal) return. Buffalo needs to take on some cap and I figure that Myers is a bet that they’d take — after all, it’s just one year.

I wonder if this season could’ve been a big wake up call to Myers and Nashville tries him again next season if we have the capspace. I think his playstyle could really compliment someone like lauzon. Odds are we buy him out or trade him for a modest return so another team can buy him out and gain capspace

That’s what I’m hoping. I didn’t hate his game this year, and I think that Poile should be reluctant to move on so soon. That said, I feel like Lauzon might’ve been brought in as a ‘replacement’ for Phil.
