You should hope it doesn't, that D would be ROUGH in your own end.

Value is fine, but Fiala is a bad fit for Carolina. He's not an elite goal scorer. That is what Carolina needs. A DeBrincat, a Pastrnak, not a Fiala or a Miller. Great players, bad fit.

I would love for the Wild to move Spurgeon, but Barrie just might be the very last player I would want as part of the return!

Oilers don't want any more cap....though they might like the trade. Can't see Pens liking that trade for one year of Dumba

was thinking there would be some kind of deal in place for dumba. but obviously not cheaper then Marino which is probably a deal breaker

Seems kinda odd. Fiala is 26th in goals over the last 3 seasons amongst all forwards. When you narrow it down to just left wingers, Fiala comes in at #9. What's an elite goal scorer in your book, top 5?

Someone who has proven they can break the 35+ goal mark in multiple seasons. Someone like Cat or Pastrnak.

Marino for Dumba, 2nd, 2nd

I don't think that the Penguins take this. Maybe Dumba, 1st, B prospect

Gonna trade for Patrick Kane too? Otherwise I’d project Debrincat’s goal numbers go down.

But Fiala's won't when he comes away from Kaprizov?

This shows how much you know about the Wild. Fiala doesn’t play with Kaprizov. Kaprizov plays with Zuccarello and Hartman.

And then factor in his huge improvement as an all-around player too! He’s not JUST an offensive player anymore…not to mention he is the hardest working player on the team night in and night out!

I haven’t put much thought into where because it’s never going to happen…but, Edmonton has always seemed like it would be the perfect ending spot for his terrific hockey story!

Yep, played the penalty kill and the second power play unit for most of the year.

My favorite thing about Fiala was once he was given one decent line mate (Boldy), his 82 game pace jumped to 100+ points. The guy turned Freddy Gaudreau into a decent looking 44 point 2nd line center. A guy who, prior to this year, had a career high of 10 points in one season.

Look at Chicago's depth chart... you'll prove exactly that point.

Chicagos top two most common lines:

Debrincat-Strome-Kane

Debrincat-Dach-Kane

What exactly are you proving?

debrial97

His biggest impact was away from Kane. That's the point I'm trying to prove.
