Just like the 2OA is most likely a non starter for NJ, Wallstedt is for sure a no go for the Wild. He’s arguably the best goalie prospect in the world right now…

If I wasn’t so lazy, I would love to research how many of the, “best goalie prospects in the world” ever lived up to the billing!

I struggle to package Fiala and Addison for the 2nd overall but might be willing to bite on it depending on the total trade overall. Just for a shot at Cooley.

There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO scenarios where you package Wallstedt on top of Addison, not even for Mercer.

The team needs ONE top-six prospect in its system beyond just Rossi and Khusnutdinov with top line potential. Not two. Besides, we wouldn't have need of Mercer if we got a crack at Cooley.
