All of these are fairly realistic good job! I'm honestly not sure DeBrincat's value. The Kane trade could probably be a little less.

Devils decline. I don't think they're able to pay fair value for Debrincat and have it be worth it

If it's a 3 way trade and pick 12 is coming back from Columbus then I can see it working out

Rangers would do this for DeBrincat if CHI was interested. Could add too.

So here's my Logic on Toews getting nothing after CHI RS 50%

Hanzal off IR got Traded just to go back on IR for i think a 1st,2nd and a 3rd round pick
Plekanec got a 2nd and the players we flipped for Kulak during Plekky's worst historic season and last full season

What did both have the 9/10 Centers dont ?
55% Win Rate ability on a consistent basis.
People forget how rare that is and how a Matt Cullen in his decline
changed his game to focus exclusively on that in his later years (winning 2 more SC)
These guys allow other Skiled Centers who suck at Faceoffs more OZ time like Cullen did for Malkin or Carter did for Kopitar(until JC his Faceoffs were as weak as KK)

Point is Toews gets a very very late 1st package or a couple 2nd's package if you Retain Salary on one of these guys.
Without RS then year he's worth a 3rd or maybe even a 3rd/5th package but thats it in the Cap Era

I do think Toews gets a 1st, but Hanzal's trade was one of the worst of the past decade I dont think thats a good comp IMO

Ranger do NEED what Kane offers...

But what he offers is far outweighed by the fact that he's 33 and on last year of his contract...and that you're looking for a 1st and Kakko back. Very easy NO THANKS.

If NYR decide to move Kakko, anything less than a young C involved in the deal would be Drury mismanaging assets.

I wouldn't mind this for Ottawa. I like Kubalik and he's not attached to a long term contract
