I’m not sure which side adds (if at all), but this seems like the type of hockey trade the Avs would make if they were going to consider a Girard move.

I think FLA adds but not a lot Bennet had a breakout year this year but still his only 40+ point season, and Girard is cost controlled an extra two years. I kinda like it from both sides, FLA gets a puck moving d, that allows them to split Weegar and Ekbald and actually amps up there transition game, COL gets a guy that can play 2C with some sand paper.

I like it as well. Bennett has a good caphit, in his prime, and 3 years term. He'd be a nice replacement for Kadri stylistically too. Maybe FLA add a prospect since Girard is younger and has more term?
