Trades
VAN
  1. Pinelli, Francesco
  2. Roy, Matt
Additional Details:
Montreal gets a solid RD that may be blocking some important prospects that are NHL ready. Pinelli would be an interesting prospect that would tip it over the edge to eve.
LAK
  1. Boeser, Brock [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
LA gets a high scoring winger to compliment their amazing C core and could score many goals with someone else and would add some extra punch to their lineup.

Boeser's Qualifying Offer is $7.5 million and he can force a two-year contract. Too iffy for Los Angeles. Plus, we're loath to trade Roy.

LA will not be trading Matt Roy. They might consider this trade with Sean Walker instead of Roy.

Honestly, I don't think LA is interested in Boeser at all. He's a below-average skater, at best, and Blake has said in the past that the Kings are only looking to acquire players (draft and trade) that are at least "good" skaters. Vancouver should probably trade him somewhere else if they're not interested in qualifying him.

He was signed while I was doing the ACGM so I had no idea. I don't know where he'd fit in.

Vancouver has to qualify in order for Boeser to have value and I though that this was the reaction that I was going to get but what about Spence/Durzi instead of Roy. I'm shying away from Walker because of his injury history.

They'd be more willing to do that than Roy, for sure. I still think his skating will turn LA off from him though. Unless he's willing to take a longer term deal at a lower AAV (~$5.5), I can't see the Kings being interested.

Fair enough, I think that I would then target someone else with Boeser using him as a trade chip. His contract situation is very tricky though and I think that the Canucks are going to try and get ride of him this summer especially with the signing of Kuzmenko.

On the first or second line left wing.
