Neighbours doesn't need AHL time, and I'd almost feel like Puljujarvi would be useless on the Blues. Pulj is a downgrade from Barbashev basically. and I definitely wouldn't want him for 3 mil a year for 5 years lmao.

Our team already has too many RW as is...Buch, Tarasenko, Perron, Kyrou are all natural RWs. I understand all of them but Tarasenko can flip sides when needed but I don't think trading for Puljujarvi and signing him for 5 years is a smart move. We are trending towards a team that has an expensive top 4D and top 7-8 forwards. We won't have a lot of money to spend on depth 8-14 forwards. That was part of the reason to move Sundqvist.

JP makes up for what barby lacks in defense sure he doesn’t have as high flying offense but we have a ton of that, I think we need a good defensive right handed winger

Hmm. It's certainly conceivable, but I don't think Army plans to leave it at that.

Wings decline. That's barely a sweetener.

Because they tend to look at certain analytics out of context. Is he elite defensively? Of course not, but nobody ever said he was. He's certainly better than the Dom/RAPM devotees make him out to be.

JP does not make up for what barbashev lacks. Joshua would, but Puljujarvi is only good based on his linemates.
