Detroit passes, You'd be lucky to get a 5th for Karlsson. He's trending down and isn't that good.

I'm not sure. He has good numbers, he drives play, good at faceoffs, draws more penalties than he takes, has more takeaways than giveaways, more primary assist than secondary. His shooting percentage is down by 2 points this year compared with his average other than that he looks to be just as good as previous years. He could be a good 2C for us.

Retention would be nice, a lower pick would be nice, but I'd consider it for a 3rd in 2023

I think Roy and Hague are both pretty enticing, especially Roy

They can get those from anyone. Zero reason to trade him within the division if that's all they're after

meh I don't love them enough to be willing to trade Miller within the division

That's fair, I'm probably higher on Roy than most people, but hey, he's 25, right-handed center, is big, and is a decent skater, that checks off a lot of boxes for the Canucks. also know Vegas values Hague quite highly. I know he's a LHD, but can always move OEL to his off-wing

I'd probably take a flier on Wild Bill for a 3rd

I agree with you there. His term is a bit scary but really he doesn't make too much. His buy out also isn't that bad if it needed to come to that in a couple years.

I've actually been thinking about him to Detroit for a bit even though I would prefer Roy.

That’s to much quantity not enough quality for miller the 2 1sts are gonna be very late if you add miller to Vegas’ lineup, roy would fill a need at 3c but for a player like miller there needs to be a legit difference maker or two and there’s not in this trade
