No from the Isles.

This all started because an Isles blogger wrote about how Anderson was playing well with Barzal on team Canada, and a MTL fan thought they were a insider who wrote the Isles would trade Beau+1st for Anderson which they clearly would not and the blogger actually said Beau or a 1st.

Beau is cheaper, younger and has .46 PPG over his career where as Anderson has a .44 PPG over his career. The Isles would not trade Beau for Anderson, let alone downgrade their 1st and add in another prospect to do so.

Everyone except MTL passes on those trades immediately. Anderson is nowhere close to being worth that much. Canes want nothing to do with Hoffman. And I’m pretty sure Dallas doesn’t want anything to do with Petry, especially since Burns to Dallas is a lot more likely now.

How about the isles will keep Beauvillier and draft one of Yurov/Lambert. What an awful trade for the isles.

Big no on that Isles trade. Even if you assume Anderson is better than Beau (he's not), and ignore their contracts, Anderson is not swapping 1st rounders+Bellows better than Beau.
