1st + Spence is a good haul for Necas. I wouldn't throw Vilardi into the deal.

Take Iafallo out of the Chychrun deal and that's fine as well. He's arguably the best value contract on the Kings after Trevor Moore and he's too old to fit into Arizona's plans. Doesn't make sense from either side.

Brandt Clarke isn't going to be NHL ready next season. I don't think you can trade both Spence and Durzi either, so it's one trade or the other.

That Zadorov deal is awful. He's worth maybe half that and I wouldn't give him more than 2 years. His play has been steadily declining since before he left Colorado.

Iafallo was to move $$ for Zadorov so if you're not a fan of his then keeping Iafallo makes sense

Don't think King gets rid of Iafallo he's a great leader and Doughty would be upset if we traded him away.
I think Zadorov got a little overpaid.
Not sure if Clarke is NHL ready yet.
I'd rather give up a second 1st than to trade Durzi away.
Canes probably want impact pieces returning for Necas don't think they want prospects. Plus necas wouldn't fit the role we need on our 1st since he wouldn't play on our 2nd. cause when Moore, Danault, and Arvidsson played together, they were one of the best 2nd lines in the entire league and I doubt they would split them up.
Also don't think Kaliyev is 1st line ready.

I actually don't mind this trade at all. Vilardi has looked pretty good now that he is healthy, and though he doesn't have Necas' speed, he does have high end skill, and he's only 22.

Spence would give us another low cost RHD for a few years, and could turn into a player, and that 1st is 19th OA.

That is a solid trade offer IMO. As a Canes fan, I would do that.

I think the offer is solid, but no thanks. Necas right now is Carolina's biggest likely trade chip. If Carolina are going to address scoring issues (DeBrincat) the futures aren't going to do much. Think more along the lines of Necas + for someone of Kopitar standards, but without the 10 million dollar cap hit

Vilardi makes zero sense for the Canes to acquire. He plays a position of massive strength and the Canes don’t have any room for him in Chicago either. Canes would want Durzi more than Spense, and 19OA is just magic beans. If the Canes trade Necas, it’s in a package for a top 6 pure goal scorer, and that isn’t present in that package. Canes should pass on this offer.
