The Chicago trade is a no 3 good Prospects and an NHL player for 2 players. One of which we can offer sheet for way less.

Isle say no. They don't want hayes's terrible contract especially since they don't have the cap for him. also Burakovsky is not worth 6 M and Strome isn't worth 4.

Also u need to give up more for Nylander

swapping pageau for hayes doesn’t make much sense for the isles, paying 5mil for a 3C is already a lot, no need to pay 7+ mil for a 3C
