Description

Once we get rid of #55, I think most of the issues with #26 go away. Wheeler would run through a brick wall for his teammates and I think he can still be a valuable member of the team even though he makes way too much money for a middle 6 winger.

Schiefele still holds a lot of value due to his contract even though he is at the center of a lot of dressing rooms issues

I feel we have to trade one of Schmidt, DeMelo, Pionk cause they all feel like the same type of player and we need room for Samberg on defence. Issues is the lack of right handed D men we have.

Gave PLD a 2 year contract due to his most recent free agency 2024 comments

Comrie is retained as back up at a good rate due to his play last season

Just give PLD a 1 year and then work on a new deal throughout the year. They have time to convince him and shouldn’t just walk him to FA. At least put up a fight and try to make it work.
