Not too sure why Preds give up a top4 RHD for so little. Its the same reason ppl are giving Petry such good value though he's up their age. I guess it depends how you feel about Mailloux but you'd be selling low on Mailloux in any case.

I mean the 3rd and Dadonov are what they are. Not much value there. The 3rd is a 3rd and Dadonov is probably the equivalent of a 3rd or 4th. Mailloux i am very high on. Dude skates so well for a big guy and can walk the blue line very well. I don’t see Carrier as a top 4

I also like Mailloux's game. Can skate, shoot, big. Physical gifts are there but you can't say the Habs would be trading from a position of strength.
