From the perspective of the Caps or Canucks? Pretty sure VAN would rather have the prospects.

I think this is a pretty realistic value for Miller, but man would I be upset if we sell the little farm we have for him. If he was for sure going to re-sign at a decent rate and produce similarly for a while, sure. I just don't have faith in that lol

Thank you for not trading for JBD and then putting him as you're 1RD cause there is a ton of problems with that

Sens still decline cause JBD is too important of a piece for the future and probably the potential partner of Jake Sanderson while Thomson goes and plays with Chabot.

If that's the case the Canucks will gladly take Zub then!

Zub is only available if he does not want to resign in Ottawa and Ottawa is not competing which should go hand in hand.

The Sens probably don't want any of your players anyway.

Caps - I think if this is what it takes they’re better suited to go a different route and try FA.

I think that might be a bit light, but maybe it could be like

Miller
Schenn

Eller
Iorio or Lapierre (Canucks pick, idk enough about em)
2022 1st
Conditional 2023 2nd (becomes 1st if Miller re-signs or Washington makes ECF)

I don't think that condition would actually work because Miller could sign after the draft, but general idea.

Yeah can’t do conditions on signings but could do production or team success. Could also take schenn out and leave last pick as a third with ability to go to a second.
