Kings are high on Chromiak. They're not going to trade him unless it's in a package for a significant improvement.

Not my words, Letang himself. He said he wants term and to be paid full market value which for a Dman who finished 1 point out of 6th for the Norris and 6th in Dman scoring, is at least 8 considering that's what Burns, Krug and Carlson make.

Versus going to a sunken Habs team who will likely be bottom third of league during his two seasons there assuming he were to sign that? He has a better offer on the table from PIT than this one already.
