I’d take Luke back in Philly. Have his stick in my office and the trade value is interesting. Canucks can easily flip JVR for a 2nd at the TDL. Still a 25 goal scorer and a useful 200 foot player

I'd be interested as Ottawa depending on Miller's extension

If we get Miller, we don't need Boeser though so trade would have to be different

both teams say no to the Ottawa trade tbh. Miller doesn't fit the Sens needs at all, and Canucks can get more for Miller.

I don't see why Ottawa would say no? They get Boeser and can flip Miller for a good return and make profit. They could keep Boeser and trade Miller to a different team for a decent player, prospect or picks which would pay for what we lost in prospects and picks to acquire bowser. This would be great for ottawa bad for Vancouver. Ottawa would take it and run.

yeah I didn't think of the "just flip Miller" angle, just thought of it from a "Miller isn't Ottawa's guy" perspective

yeah but contract situations... Exchange Miller and Boeser contract situations and I would do it

Boeser is RFA with a 7.5 QO, I wouldn't want to give him that AAV. Look at his injury history and he's not the greatest skater to begin with. I find him risky

Miller I'd want him if he came with an extension. He's older but he most likely have several good years left. He'd be great on Stutzle's Left Wing. Miller is one of the most versatile forwards in the league.

But agreed, overall values are probably not exact. I'd give this for only Miller (with extension)

2022 1st round pick (OTT)
Brännström, Erik
2022 2nd round pick (TBL)
