Chevy should turn this down. The Jets can't afford to move Helly for a low value player, an LD prospect they don't need, a bad contract and a mid first.

Sharks decline. Easily. Not giving up Kane and taking two cap dumps. This idea needs to stop

Easy no for the Sharks. It's far more likely there'd be a Mike Richards style settlement or Kane loses the case, but if Kane wins then the Sharks could get a significantly better package from Edmonton. I know the Oilers are desperate for cap space and that we're not in the best of shape, but we're not dumb enough to pick up two cap dumps without any prospects or picks for the trouble.

Good to see oilers AGMs still are in an alternate dimension where every other team in the league caters to their needs out of the kindness of their hearts.

and Kane can only be traded to Edmonton. SJ would be better just waiving him and have someone claim him.

I got a better idea. Edmonton trades for Mrazek and Byron then all are traded to SJ for Kane. We can get all of Canada's Cap dumps in one giant deal.
