Why would jets not trade him and let him walk that’s just silly

I could see the Jets considering the Ranger one, maybe the Washington one, but not the other 2.

Really personally my favourite is the Rangers one then Hurricanes then Caps then Flyers

Unless the Jets really like one of the guys in those two deals, I just don't think the value is there.

Carolina's offer seems significantly more valuable than the Flyers' imo

You’ve confused my comment with commenting about the Jets. My comment was every single team trading with the Jets is giving a significant amount of future assets for someone who’s openly said he’s going to test the UFA market when he’s eligible.

The question posed by the title was if they were even. They are not.

I honestly think he just hates Winnipeg as someone from Winnipeg that’s understandable if I was a pro athlete I wouldn’t want to live here but I think other teams could convince him to stay and sign long term

I honestly think he's just a whiner and a quitter, Idk wtf the Jets were ever thinking trading for a quitter.

Hopefully PLD's traded by the draft, good riddance!

Your closest one and it's still pretty distant is the NYR trade, PLD is way better than a lot of people on this sight make him, I'd probably go Schneider, Lafreniere and the 2023 1st add a B+ prospect if need be

I don't think the rangers want to part with Schnieder. Othman nils and a first might be the more realistic trade IMO, but if the rangers are willing to part with Schnieder I don't see them saying no to this trade. Surprised you didn't go the Kaapo Kakko route. Seeing what Fiala just got traded for the trades are dead on.

Caps say no, McMichael is going to be full time 2C or 3C next season, and Protas most likely makes the opening roster

Would do that deal for the Caps if its LaPierre instead and PLD commits to signing long term. A lot to give for 2 years
