Jackets probably accept that offer. I don't know why Edmonton would make it, though.

I am surprise NJ would accept that offer. Ty Smith is the best payer in that trade.

Devils fans have soured on him after a down year. I'd probably accept that offer, but I don't think it's as one-sided as Devsfan25 seems to be making it out to be. They're a little to fixated on the "1" on that pick, even though it's pick #29.

don't doubt Kenny H. But yeah this feels like an easy yes from the Devils.

I think Tom has also soured on Smith, that's the thing.

I don't know NJ players that well. what player would you change from NJ by making it an "easy yes", to yes?

He defended his season pretty confidently in his exit interview. I just think the biggest problem he has with him is his size, Fitz definitely has a type.

McLeod or Bastian instead of Boqvist would make it a harder decision that still gets it done, imo.

Johnsson retained and/or Stillman as well.

I hate whatever “insider” that suggested Kassian to Columbus and I’m tired of seeing this stupid trades as Columbus has no room for more wings!

I would absolutely be interested in a Puljujarvi/McLeod swap, if I were GM of the Devils.

What?! you're saying everything I read on twitter isn't true?
Haha, but that is totally where I saw this.

Yeah, I know, I saw it too. I don’t blame you or the other oiler fans who are trading Kassian to Columbus.

Then I guess there's something amazing about Benson that none of the scouting services I'm following is aware of, because I look at that and I see "cap dump and yet another depth winger we don't need for one of our better defensive forwards".

No, the pick doesn't even register. It's noise.
