Doesn't seem like enough is coming back to SJ considering it will be a late first, but the idea is a good one because NYR is all win now while SJ is denying they should be in rebuild. SJ fans are absolutely in love with Ferraro, maybe even more than Meier, (people even consider him a future captain). If SJ is trading Meier to NYR I'd want to at least then see Hertl and Chytil on the same team, because you know Czech love. Maybe Kappo+Chytil+Kravtsov+picks for Meier(retained)+Ferraro as the headliners in the trade.

Believe me, I've been trying all kinds of of combinations. TOEWS KANE and the Cat for a boatload of Rangers, an Anders Lee for Breadman scenario assuming all NMC and NTC issues could be resolved. The team they put on the ice in October will be missing a number of players that just reached the conference finals. I'm afraid the Blueshirts will be wandering in the wilderness for some time.
