Mark Scheifele > Willian Nylander, Zero chance of Winnipeg making that deal.

Schiefele is older, gets all of his teams prime scoring minutes and still barely managed to outproduced Nylander. I’m so sick of the hyperbolic remarks on CF. Their value is very similar imo, and both teams could benefit from this trade.

If there was a extra year or two on nylander, it would be a doable deal, but jets basically would have to trade him in a year or sooner. That list is getting a little too long of guys that probably need to be traded in 18 months or less. A lot will be decided when they choose coach and direction on scheifele/Dubois

They make it sound out of Winnipeg that Schiefele is a locker room cancer. Jets fans would know better than a leafs fan.

The values aren't close. 2 years of a consistent PPG 1C is worth tons more than 2 years of a soft, poor defensive, me first, perimeter winger that disappears in physical games.

The Leafs would be adding significantly.
