big "no thank you" from Edmonton. Not solving your cap problem and giving up 2 assets. Oilers cant afford to give up anymore draft picks. They need to acquire draft picks for 2023 & 2024 to use as trading chips at trade deadline.

Should and will are two different things lol. I agree they should focus on young talent but their acquisition (and extension) of Lindholm last year just tells me this management will compromise any chance at a future for a small chance at a cup. And I wouldn’t be so sure that Holland wouldn’t spend assets on a goalie. If Edmonton strikes out on Husso and Campbell in FA, their hands are tied in terms of upgrading in net.

CHI can't afford to be doing any favours for teams right now. Taking on that cap for nothing is counterproductive for the rebuild aspect.
