I think maybe a year early on the full-spend-to-cap-go-for-it type off-season for wings.

Your concept of value is way off. For example you're giving Sunny away for nothing. Why are you giving the Leafs a 2nd? Detroit would be doing them a huge favour taking Mrazek. Take their 1st but you don't give up anything. Lindstrom for a 4th? Why? He's a good cheap young defensive Defenseman. There's no need to trade him.

McIsaac and a 4th gets you Martinez. Not Hague. Why would Malkin sign with Detroit? We do need a 2C but he's not coming here. Same with Marchment. Why would he sign here? I doubt Lucic waives his NTC for Detroit. Where's Veleno? I doubt Juolevi gets re-signed.

This looks more like the Ken Holland plan.

This is all over the place.

You want to pay a prospect and a 4th for Hague who is a player VGK wants to keep but offer a 3rd + Oesterle + retention for Pettersson who PIT is so desperate to get rid of that they're rumoured to considering paying a team to take him.

Taking on Mrazek for only a 20 (-ish) slot upgrade is nonsense. Detroit doesn't give anything back for him.

Retention on Erne means that all retentionbn slots are taken and no trades can be made at the TDL where a retention could be the difference between getting handsomely paid and getting nothing.

Then you end with giving away Sunny and Lindström for nothing at all.

Not a single one of these trades help Detroit and if Yzerman did them he would deserve to be fired.
