because he will be 29 when the season starts and he just had a monster year. No way he goes shorter then 7 years

Career year and potentially the best time in his career he's going to get to negotiate a contract. Who knows if he ever hits 115 points again. He's done his time and has earned a 7 or 8 year contract wherever he ends up.

Dont see how that benefits Johnny, he takes all the risk while give the flames a sweet heart situation. He has earned the right to go explore the opportunity to get the max money and earnings as a Free Agent.
