Just focusing in on the trade here, I honestly think Edmonton would need to add more. After watching the Jet's powerplay I think Barrie would be good for them and all but I think you'd need to switch out Lavoie for either: Holloway, Bourgault or Broberg for the Jets to take it. Foegele I think is a non-factor and doesn't really take away or add much in terms of value to this trade IMO

Terrible trade for the Jets. They already have Neal Pionk & Dylan DeMelo signed with term to play RD, so you're basically giving them a $4.5M third pair RD in Barrie, a bottom 6 guy with a slightly unattractive cap hit in Foegele, a mid-tier prospect, a 2nd next year and a 1st two years from now. Why would they give up one of the top 10 goalies in the league for that package?
