In the east it's a pretty unpopular opinion. Gun control need to be strick. Carey is not a criminal but we want to change the law. But i do respect Price voicing is opinion and I hate Trudeau doing s*** about guns!

Hope you're not talking about Atlantic Canada. PEI/Nova Scotia/New Brunswick are all conservative. Nobody around here likes Trudeau

That’s been taken very much out of context, Price comes from an indigenous family, hunting is part of their culture and a way of life, he wants them to be able to continue to hunt with guns, nothing wrong with that, he’s not saying he’s an uber conservative, he’s asking to continue his culture’s way of life, nothing else, so both sides of the political spectrum can chill a bit with the huge support/condemnation, he’s not exactly taking a stand to one side of the alley

As unpopular or popular as it may be it’s still just him voicing his opinion and as far as I know it’s not anything that’s widely hated upon in society (when I say this I mean some of the more extreme political stances that we saw in the 1900s) so I don’t see a problem with voicing an opinion
However I will stop here as this is a hockey forum and rules say somewhere that politics aren’t allowed

So who are the HABS target in the next TDL?

Should Habs go after MEIER, PULJUJARVI, 1ST ROUNDER ??? What are your thoughts?

I'd like Puljujarvi in Montreal, but I wouldn't want to give up anything for him. His QO is 3 Million which he simply isn't worth, which means he's likely going to be playing here next year as an overpaid player (which we don't really want). Don't think it makes much sense for Montreal with all of our current wingers as Puljijarvi would be lucky to not be a healthy scratch every night. It's a tough situation because we don't have the cap space, nor the need for him. I'd take him as a dump player (IE Edmundson for Puljijarvi + 1st + 3rd) but I doubt Edmonton would do that.

They should definitely be going for picks/prospects. Not sure I want them to do the same strategy as last year with trying to get D2/D3 players as we don't really have room for them. It's already a log jam so getting more of those players don't help. As long as we're improving for our future I'm okay with it.

As a roster player to balance the cap in an Edmundson deal, sure. Or if he's not qualified and brought him as UFA, sure.

I definitely think bringing him in as UFA is the right move. Or perhaps get him to resign if we trade for him that's less than his QO. Doesn't make much sense for him though so it's probably unlikely.

I definitely wouldn't be trading Jesse Ylonen. I strongly believe he's our most underrated prospect and will become a good middle 6 winger in the future for us. I'd have no interest in that first trade.

Don't think Meier makes much sense for us, even though he's a former Moosehead (my Hometown Team) I definitely think he's overrated and not worth the 10+ he'll get on his next contract. Also doesn't make much sense for our teams short term future.

If We can't get more for Monahan, we keep him and resign him to a 1-2 year deal. I like what he brings to the team and won't be that expensive to resign.

2ND PART

Don't think we should be paying that price for PLD because he's very likely to sign here as a UFA and waiting an extra year doesn't hurt anybody. Obviously things could change and we might be forced to trade for him, but not for that price. I'd be fine with the Armia for Faksa deal, don't particularly like either player, but think Armia and Faksa could both benefit from a change of scenary. Evan's is a little expensive, but I like what he brings as a 4C, give him some better wingers and he'll be fine, not someone I think we should dump.

That Pulji contract is way too expensive, no different than what Armia's currently getting, Think he needs a "show me" contract if he wants to remain in the NHL. He's been awful this year.
