Well it helped Colorado win a cup so.....

As they got below average goaltending and won so arguably anyone can do it

Avs had a better Defencive Offensive rush and points so Leafs rely only on offence unless Rielly pulls a Makar

Doesnt really have to be Rielly

Liligren could show up or so could Sandin it only takes one to start things off

And if the Leafs can continue their PP production into the post season they go to the second round. Thats really the main factor rn

They just need to figure out that part as their PK showed up and created more scoring opportunities

I can see Sandin being kinda like Byram was for the Abvs with skating and speed, Liljegren has to develop and make lesser mistakes and Rielly usually does fine in the playoffs in my eyes, with Gio being solid, with Chycrun its a solid D core

Leafs should just sign Campbell for about 5m instead of giving away assets for a 5m Gibson. MUZZIN is NOT waiving to Arizona

Campbell Oilers, Kuemps Ottawa and Leafs will trade for the goalie. Friedman says Murray to Leafs

Maybe they will make a trade....but still doesn't deter from the fact that 5.6m Muzzin is still a Leaf

Avs weren't the cleanest Defensive D team and goaltending was .90s which doesn't make a playoff team in the first place. Isles had the number one Defensive Team and Goaltending Tandems and couldn't get past the Lightning. Lightning were a perfect mesh of elite goaltending, Super Offense with Kuch, Stammy, Palat, Point, and co. So luck plays a role if the team misses an elite D and has scorer like Matthews, Tavares, Marner, Nylander

You're a bigger clown for not understanding the needs of the other side of it and not the value of the player from a leafs perspective or a playoff team where he fits perfectly in the bottom 6.

There are players who aren't there for the positional need but for their presence itself. It's not like acquiring a Defenceman and looking at the handedness, or acquiring a predominant handed winger for the Top 6, or a physical presence in the bottom 6, Kerfoot can be your 2nd line Center, an elite LW like he was with Tavares at times, a solid shutdown 3rd liner or even place him to handle a 4th line from a purely defensive perspective. With 51 points from Kerfoot equalling more than Palat, Tyler Seguin, Tyler Toffoli, you're trading a 3rd rounder for an elite player and many of the 32 teams won't think much unless they have severe cap crunch and are contending with positions filled

Pass, you can keep him if he's so awesome. This guy will never wear a wings jersey and I'm thankful for it

Makes sense considering Detroit has prospects and Kasper will be far better of the version Kerfoot is. Teams know Leafs have a cap cunch so the return won't be ideal but I can see a team like Seattle or Arizona taking such a deal

I think this is spot on, I think a playoff team would be happy to give up a 3rd for him

Why tf would the wings not want kerfoot tho? I understand if leafs wouldn't want to get rid of him but your saying "wings pass" when in actuality for only a 3rd is quite a steal and if detorit wants ti start competing this would be a good move

Explain to me how? We have 500 million bottom 6 forwards and have 1 room for 1 top 6 forward that we want to upgrade, not have a 3rd line play occupy that space
