Why would the flyers overpay two of the worst defensemen in the league to fill out their blue line? And then add weak Vanek? Doesn't make sense..

Russell struggles with possession and driving play. I'd rather play our rookies. Don't need inconsistent Vanek or AMac on the first pair ?

Haha blocked shots. The only that means is he isn't doing anything except bleeding chances. We have better ways to measure how effective defenders are instead of blocked shots. This isn't the 1970's...

Coburn was good for us while he was here. I don't understand where all of the Coburn hate comes from. He was left out to dry because he was asked to take too big of a role when Pronger and Timonen went down. He was a great second pair guy for us while we were good
