Pens will give you a 6th for drouin retained nd edm will give you a 3rd for hoffman also that probably isnt enough for PLD or else the trade would have already been made

Hoffman not worth that, maybe a 2nd max,
That PLD trade is somehow possible if the first is not protected, but i still think that Winnipeg want an NHLer ready

Dadanov nixed a trade to Anaheim for tax reasons, pretty sure La is on that list too.

Besides no cap for him.

That PLD trade isn’t off on value, it’s just a matter of what pieces WPG actually wants. Also, he would definitely be at 2C over Dach. Dach would be great on his wing.

Trading Mtl 1st 2023 makes no sense.
Even with Dubois they will be in the lottery for Bedard

Supposedly according to rumors, Montreal is looking to get PLD for the Wing and going after Dylan Strome as 2C. IDK if that makes sense to me but that is the rumors.

That’s a terrible idea. PLD can handle center ice at both ends much better than Strome.

The first would certainly be a good start for Dubois, but the reports are that the offer would need to be too good for Chevy to ignore for him to consider. That's where this offer falls short.

The two players don't give Winnipeg anything they need, so I'd imagine Chevy just hangs onto Dubois for this year and looks at deals next summer if need be.

the idea is to develop you're prospect into the player you want them to be. IMO dach has a higher ceiling at C then PLD
