I said they finish 7th to last and win the lottery. Obviously not the most likely outcome, but possible. Cap Friendly AGM's are for these pipe dreams. In reality, you could move Nico up a line and put Brayden Yegor or Dalibor Dvorsky or whoever at that 3C

Also, the goaltending is still terrible, so you never know

I honestly think a trade like that Saros trade makes a lot of sense for both teams. Gotta blow Nashville away, but if Askarov develops, Devils have the assets to get a deal done next offseason
