Friedman has also said Bertuzzi is going to be traded to Toronto the last 3 TDLs and the 2 previous off-seasons.

Why would the nucks give up a young forward with top 6 2 way potential for a horrible defenseman

You read that off nhl discussion?? Hoglander was a 2nd round pick that won’t be cracking the top 6 and they want a young rhd that can help them win now. Hroneks a 40 pt dman that can qb the 2nd power play

Hot take. Hronek is not that bad. He's a solid young guy. But even with the pick I don't think he's worth Hoggy in this trade. Unless they take Dickinson or Pools with.

Canucks already have OEL QBing the 2nd unit, they've no need for another offensive defenseman.
