They're RD is set and forward group is good and getting better. Just need that left D and Hughes is one of the best.

It might be unrealistic but is it really that bad for both teams? Canucks desperately need RD and they have OEL locked up for 5 years. Devils need that help on left D its pretty much their only weak spot and they get Hughes for 5 years. And Devils pay extra price to get Hughes because he is already a top 10 left D with term. Remember 99% of trades on this site never happen anyways so why is it so bad to explore this trade?
