Is This A Trade Both Teams Consider

Description
The other two trades are just ideas I think the Jets should consider looking at. Here’s another MTL/WPG trade proposal I came up with.
The Jets get Suzuki a very good and young centre, a somewhat bad contract back in Anderson (although he is a decent player), and a cap dump in Armia along with a second round pick. The Canadiens get a guy they’ve wanted for a while in PLD, a solid prospect in the form of Chibrikov, and now have three first round picks next year in a draft that is filled with talent. Based of the recent moves the Canadiens have made, they definitely intend on going for Bedard next year. This trade helps them shed salary, gain picks, increase their lottery odds, and obtain a player that wants to sign there long term who can be the face of their franchise for the next decade ( I know that Suzuki right now is the face of the Canadiens but I feel like signing Dubois would probably be a big deal in Montreal ). I know this trade most likely gets declined by the Canadiens since they can get Dubois for free in 2 years, but I wanted to see what people thought about this idea.

Not really
If Suzuki is in it
It would have to be:
Suzuki + Anderson for Dubois + Lucius + '23 1st

So Montreal should give up a player who's value is equal to PLD's + Anderson who is a good top 6 forward + Armia who is a good middle 6 forward + 2nd + 3rd + 4th for Dubios ++++. There are too many moving parts and there is no incentive for Montreal to swap Suzuki with PLD when we can have both in 2 years.

Maybe only because Dubois has 2 years left
Maybe Neal Pionk, and it's fair

I guess I didn’t really consider the fact that there was a rumoured trade between the Islanders and Montreal that had Anderson going for the 13th overall pick but it was declined by the Canadiens.

Jets hold the cards this year and next. So Habs can wait but it appears they do not and in turn not really giving up anything. Rumors had Anderson going for the 13th pick and declined. Wow, then they are stupid. They could have helped the rebuild and shed capJets will want a center back 1st an foremost, and then they are not giving up anything, why would they? It is almost like this poster thinks Jets are going to give up a 1st to trade PLD. Armia has little value, Anderson has value but not in this deal and Suzicki for PlD is a good starting point. But in any PlD trade Habs pay to move up those two years, not the other way around.
