Kerfoot -- a good rental forward for a contender, but a cap dump to Anaheim
Muzzin -- a good but VERY expensive defender for a contender, but a cap dump to Anaheim

Comtois -- more likely to be an impact forward than any prospect you have under contract; both he and Nick Robertson have 22 goals over the past 2 seasons, but all of Max's have come in the NHL

They spent a month dumping him to LA and finally after 10k no's on that they got their atlases out and said.. Ducks are in So Cal.

Instead of paying a 5th for a $2 mil RD San Jose doesn’t need, why wouldn’t they just offer sheet Sandin at $2 mil when they lack good LD depth?
