Description

Having both sandin and muzzin makes little sense. 5 LHD isn’t the way to develop sandin, muzzins days are numbered as a leaf. It’s moving on from him or both kerfoot and holl which isn’t too ideal. I do not see the final piece being Milano as I don’t see him signing for that sum of money in Canada with the taxes. Any UFA that is willing to sign in Toronto for less than 2m is their final forward. Do I see this team winning a cup? No, but I see them maybe winning a round or two. If the team preforms then dubas can acquire a good player for a cup run at the TDL. I don’t see the leafs making a run at anybody in free agency for more than 2m. Keep your two assets in kerfoot and holl and make a run at actual players during the season.

Muzzin is still a really good player, and the Leafs shouldn't want to lose him. They just might have to.

The Leafs are squeezed and there are 31 other GMs across the league who know this very well.

I don't think there is leaf fan out there that realizes how much they'll miss Muzzin if he's moved for anything other than the Right shot version of himself
