WTH??? Why would the Jets trade 2 years of PLD for one year of Chucky Cheese? And add on top of that

Why would 2 teams who have to trade a player because they wont resign with them, trade for other players that will cause the same problem?

This doesn't solve anything for either team.

A great post on the concept of opportunity cost as a concept in the NHL though
