Description

We all know Lou isn’t gonna make a move for Tkachuk, #19 is too flashy for a GM who doesn’t let his players grow beards or have numbers above 30. However I can see him finally getting Tarasenko after missing on him last year.

Dobson gets the Charlie McAvoy bridge.

I agree with your logic - that if the Blues got Tkachuk they'd become less worried about the return for clearing Tarasenko's 7.5m - but for me, I'd still be gunning for a protected 1st or Holmstrom. Bellows just doesn't do anything for me. I guess it would come down to how many destinations VT would waive for and which ones would have the cap space for him.

Don't think the blues go for that. They will want to use some of the assets from the Tarasenko trade if they trade for Tkachuk and there is nothing that appealing in that offer
