First off what are these lines. Second off don’t sign Holtby or pope. There’s plenty of forward depth out there and lots of goalies. And isn’t Stolarz going to be healthy at the start of the season and if not I’m sure there’s a solid or a somewhat solid back up somewhere

Holtby has been said to not be playing this year and maybe no longer in the NHL. Stolarz is a fine backup, in fact he maybe should garner more starts to make it a more even split between him and Gibby even though the latter is getting paid top dollar so you need to have him start a lot more. I don't like you signing that many old guys JVR, Kessel, Klingberg, and Yandle even when Anaheim is a young team, let's get some guys in their prime.

Tarasenko I have said is a really good fit for our top-line but it is a matter of what it will take to get the Blues to move him. This might be a situation where he just wants out of St Louis no matter what and the Blues have to make a move prior to the season, that benefits the Ducks a bit because of the cap-space, but we also don't know what 10-teams are on his No Trade List. I personally feel the Ducks are on of the best destinations for him in terms of being able to offer him first line, working with a superstar center in the making in Trevor Zegras and the chance at a good contract with term.

The only move here that comes remotely close to making sense is the Klingberg signing, and even then, I can't see him signing for less than 6 years.

Holtby should be on the LTIR list and Stolarz shouldn't.

The less said about the Tarasenko rental, the better. That idea almost elevates this post from really, really bad to troll.

My dude, just no. The only thing I like about this is the idea of getting to see Holtby (likely retired) and Phil the Thrill in a ducks sweater at Honda Center. JVR would be a cap dump for Philly, we need picks coming back the other way, Tarasenko trade cripples our future, who the heck is Pope? And loosing Stolarz, who is likely our biggest trade asset this season, to waivers because he is massively outperforming his contract and literally ANYONE would pick him up, if for no other reason than to flip Toronto the bird, is an absolute no-no.
