Gonna be really tough to move Krug, but in the event that they somehow retain Kyrou in a Tkachuk trade, he’s the guy to move.

Yeah, none of these things are happening, for various reasons on various sides. I do, however, think the Josh Brook signing is a very worthwhile low risk gamble.

Very tough sell considering there’s 5 years left, but Krug would solve a lot of problems on that powerplay. I mean Perron and Krug playing PP1 in Detroit is probably worth 20 more goals over a full season. Seider not much of a needle-mover 5v4

I'm not sure it's the QB lack of continuity and new pp coach but Tanguay did improve the pp quite a bit. Now I'm not entirely sure about assessment of Seider he did have 21 pp points I think that's pretty good for a rookie playing 23 minutes a game. Krug is definitely good on the pp and a good all around player but he is on the wrong side of 30 with cap hit of $6.5M for the next 5yrs. If Detroit was a contender or even a playoff team then maybe they trade for Krug but it just doesn't make much sense right now.

Fair enough, seems like a far better alternative than signing Klingberg though which I’ve seen rumored.
