If detroit is playoff bound that first is going to get spent, possibly a year and half rental.

3. Thats a lowball offer that the uppermentioned team Montreal wouldnt get away with lol, even tough WPG have been backed into a corner by Dubois

i know he wants to go there do we know if they want him though and don't end up going a different direction backing the jets into an even bigger corner

If the Jets trade him at the deadline it will be for the standard TDL price, so Detroit's 1st would need to be in there.

I agree, he pretty much can't get a long with anyone for longer than a year.

Guy was drafted by Columbus and then traded to one of the least desirable places in Canada, can you blame him?

I personally don’t mind when players force their way to a team they want to play for. Teams do it to players; why can’t players do it to teams? I respect it.

Yes I can!!! HE NEEDS TO PULL UP HIS BIG GIRL PANTIES AND STOP ACTING LIKE A LITTLE B****!! There are plenty of players that would love to have a chance to play in the NHL. Now Columbus is a small market and Tortorella might be one of the hardest coaches to play for so I can understand him wanting out of Columbus. But here we are again a year later I say black ball him for a year or 2 make him earn his way back to the NHL. You realize Detroit isn't that much bigger than Columbus so what makes you think he'd be happy here. F*** him his attitude is bad for the game.

Yeah, I just disagree. I didn’t say he would or should play for Detroit.

I also don’t give a **** about people wanting to play in the NHL. PLD is probably one of the best 100 players on the planet, he doesn’t have the misfortune of wishing he could have the opportunity to play in the NHL. He’s there. He wants to play where he wants to play. And he will.

All he’s done is express that he won’t re-sign once he becomes a UFA. He hasn’t said he wouldn’t honor his contract. He is. Personally, I think what he’s doing is a lot more honorable than what Gaudreau did by just walking away without prior notice, which he has/had no obligation to do anyhow.

I see no reason to dislike, hate or complain about either of their actions. I just know that if Dylan Larkin planned on walking away after this season, it’d be preferable to know that ahead of time so we could at least get something for him rather than him walking away for free and leaving us high and dry.
