His play has really declined since those leg injuries, which is understandable. But as a bottom pair guy or a 7th D it's serviceable. But he should be used sparingly.

He played more games in the AHL last year than in the NHL, but he should get a bigger role in Seattle. That said, even if he is mere injury insurance, this is still a good signing.
